Fax to Email
Fax to Email is a straightforward service that has one simple function and that is to receive a fax and deliver it to your email account. The simplicity of this application also makes it easy to set up and modify as the only information required is the email address
The Fax to Email service can be set up on any of our number ranges and is included as part of the number package.
Choosing your number:
0800/0808: Ideal for fax marketing promotions where you are looking to receive sales orders via fax. Incoming faxes will be charged at around 3.5p per minute.
Geographic (City/Town) 01/02 : Ideal for localised marketing or as an addition to your current number.
0845 Lo-call Basic Rate: This prefix is a good “all-rounder”. It is a low cost for the sender and has no cost to the recipient.
0844 Fixed Rate: Calls will cost up to 5p per minute. If the 5p per minute prefix is used, there is a small revenue share of up to 1p per minute for incoming faxes.
0871 Fixed Rate: Calls will cost up to 10p per minute. There is a small revenue share of up to 5p per minute for incoming faxes.
Viewing Your Faxes:
The faxes are stored online for archive retrieval and are sent by email as a Tagged Image File (TIF) which can be read by any picture viewer. We recommend Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) or Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer (standard with most PCs)
Configuring the service through the Intelligent Network System:
To set up a service is as simple as typing in the email address that you would like to receive faxes. You can of course change this at any time.
